Bufones & Saltimbanquis's Alfonso Ayala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Bufones & Saltimbanquis from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Ayala was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Dante Gerazan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dante Gerazan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The supporters of Insomnio booed when Bufones & Saltimbanquis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Larpe during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Dante Gerazan made the kick off in the second half. Bufones & Saltimbanquis were furious when Bruno Tomi was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Bufones & Saltimbanquis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Insomnio:s goal. The referee gave Insomnio a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aurelio Goren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bufones & Saltimbanquis's Alfonso Ayala. 2-2. Marcial Evangelista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eugenio Nicholas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Bufones & Saltimbanquis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Nicholas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Gerazan in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Ayala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Larpe kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Bufones & Saltimbanquis booed when Insomnio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Dimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Artemio Atauri was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Bufones & Saltimbanquis's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
