Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dante Gerazan started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Insomnio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Nel to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Figueroa having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Insomnio's goalkeeper Gerardo Figueroa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Abreu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerardo Figueroa. Insomnio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcial Evangelista might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Emeterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcial Evangelista ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dante Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All Donkeys F. C.'s Ovidio Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Gerazan in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ezequiel Feliz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Figueroa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gerardo Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Fonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ovidio Emeterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Evangelista in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Ambrosio Fonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Insomnio's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Fonso came free, but Gerardo Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Ezequiel Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Donkeys F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Feliz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Dimas hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Gerardo Figueroa made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Ezequiel Feliz sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrosio Fonso to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Insomnio's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Feliz came free, but Gerardo Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Ignacio Dimas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Insomnio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Dimas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Feliz took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerardo Figueroa. Gerardo Figueroa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Fonso in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Figueroa saved Insomnio from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Dante Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Emeterio having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Insomnio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Montel to maneuver through the defense. If Ambrosio Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ezequiel Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gerardo Figueroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Fonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerardo Figueroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Dante Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Insomnio's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Fonso came free, but Gerardo Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Feliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Fonso in the 97th minute of play forced Insomnio's goalkeeper Gerardo Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All Donkeys F. C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Insomnio for a fine match.
