Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ignacio Pelayo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Elixio in the 14th minute of play forced Pulares's goalkeeper Haroldo Ibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Malvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Teofilo Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Pelayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Joaquin Elixio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristo Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pulares's Cristo Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Kelemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Guaberto Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Lavalle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Kelemen couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Martino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Pelayo in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Guaberto Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute, Cristo Malvin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilo Martino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ignacio Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Kelemen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 69th playminute. Joaquin Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pulares's goalkeeper Haroldo Ibon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
