Rulo FC's Paulino Michael got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvio Isaio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Rulo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Pietro in the 22nd minute of play forced Teamgeist's goalkeeper Lucio Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rulo FC's Silvio Isaio got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Pietro got free with Lucio Garikoitz in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvio Isaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Silvio Isaio came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Rulo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Isaio couldn't finish the play. Froilan Valentine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lucio Garikoitz made a huge save. In the 40th match minute, Teamgeist was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Hitz to maneuver through the defense. If Higinio Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Efrain Paez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Teamgeist's Lucio Garikoitz. Lucio Garikoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Cristofol made a kick off. A collision led to Teamgeist getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Tanio in the 63rd minute of play forced Teamgeist's goalkeeper Lucio Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Evelio Tanio fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rulo FC's protests and gave Evelio Tanio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Teamgeist booed when Rulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Higinio Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evelio Tanio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Garikoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Pietro went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teamgeist's goalkeeper Lucio Garikoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rulo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
