Baltasar Orlondo helped the player get up and apologised. 4 minutes into the game, one of Los Cuervos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Lavalle's goal looked a bit too open when German Gauargi came free, but Teofilo Martino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lavalle's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baltasar Orlondo was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Cuervos's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Lucio Phelipe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Lavalle getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pascual Gagriel hit a great ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Eriberto Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Cuervos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Tino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Aldo Tauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Cuervos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lavalle the free kick. Lavalle's Guaberto Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Lavalle's goalkeeper Teofilo Martino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Tino. German Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, German Gauargi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Lavalle's goalkeeper Teofilo Martino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eriberto Tino. Teofilo Martino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Gauargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Teofilo Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Lavalle were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lavalle's Teofilo Martino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Tino in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Eriberto Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Cuervos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Tino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Cuervos's Eriberto Tino got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eriberto Tino took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Martino. Teofilo Martino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Eriberto Tino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Martino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Eriberto Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Cuervos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Martino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, German Gauargi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aldo Tauro was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Los Cuervos getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aldo Tauro hit a great ball. Guaberto Kelemens short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Urbano Clemencin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Los Cuervos were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Lavalle to leave the ground with a draw.
