Honorato Iyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Martino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Iyan in the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Guaberto Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavalle's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Kelemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Loi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 36 minutes, Joaquin Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavalle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Elixio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Guaberto Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquin Elixio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angel Loi. That made the score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play. Teofilo Martino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Iyan in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Iyan to strike the kick off in the second half. Mario Horado kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Lavalle's goalkeeper Teofilo Martino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Iyan. Chepes's Angel Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Elixio in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Iyan got free with Teofilo Martino in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Chepes's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Kelemen came free, but Angel Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Rey's late challenge caught a Lavalle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Rey helped the player get up and apologised. Amador Rey hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Astor Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Geronimo Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute of the match Silvestre Cebo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Loi skillfully saved the ball.
