Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amador Pello kicked off to start the match. Francisco Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The long shot by Damaso Cordareo in the 4th minute really tested Jeremias Errolan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Amador Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Pello in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Errolan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Angelo Mikolas managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Mikolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Austin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jeremias Errolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Chobi F.C defense, Francisco Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Austin. The Chobi F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Austin should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Chobi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Claris came free, but Virgilio Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Arce's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Jeremias Errolan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Jonas Claris put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Virgilio Austin. The supporters of Chobi F.C booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Angelo Mikolas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chobi F.C's Cayetano Quintun pulled a muscle in his back after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Francisco Alvarez fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Independiente's protests and gave Francisco Alvarez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chobi F.C booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Claris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Claris in the 63rd minute of play. If Rigoberto Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Errolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Angelo Mikolas had several of the Chobi F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Virgilio Austin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marcelo Reno hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Angelo Mikolas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Alvarez got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Francisco Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Chobi F.C's Virgilio Austin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Chobi F.C from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C. A. Independiente had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
