Eliseo Pacorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Santo Naldo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Pacorro got free with Santo Naldo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cabal's Santo Naldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cabal from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, one of La Quintana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Evaristo Blasi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Alvaro Romano kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes La Quintana got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Pacorro. Cristian Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Jerano having to interfere. La Quintana's Angel Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Celino in the 35th minute of play. Angel Jerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Angel Jerano came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabal's Cristian Indar. But to his dismay, Cristian Indar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Quintana's goalkeeper Angel Jerano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

La Quintana's Angel Jerano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save La Quintana from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Cristian Indar took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Angel Jerano to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute Carolo Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Jerano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Indar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Eneko charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Eneko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 64 minutes into the match, La Quintana's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Beturian came free, but Angel Jerano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Beturian struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Angel Jerano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabal. The supporters of La Quintana booed when Cabal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Beturian got free with Angel Jerano in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Angel Jerano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Jerano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Beturian in the 81st minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Carolo Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Beturian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Jerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Modesto Oton's late challenge caught a Cabal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Modesto Oton helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes La Quintana got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Oton. After a defensive mix-up in La Quintana's zone, Carolo Beturian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Jerano came out of the goal and Carolo Beturian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Angel Jerano throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cristian Indar in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
