Angelo Mikolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alejandro Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Beremundo in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeremias Errolan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jeremias Errolan stood somewhat misplaced when Hermengildo Beremundo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. Alejandro Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Teo Salvino in the 35th minute really tested Jeremias Errolan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 40 minutes into the match, El decano's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Mikolas came free, but Alejandro Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, C. A. Independiente's Jeremias Errolan got control of the ball when Alejo Hibai tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of El decano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C. A. Independiente:s goal. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for C. A. Independiente. Froilan Lain stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alejandro Sustrai. 2-1. 63 minutes into the game, Froilan Lain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El decano the free kick. Froilan Lain hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Hibai came free, but Jeremias Errolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Beremundo in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 89th minute, Alejo Hibai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alejo Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Timoteo Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El decano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Chinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Mikolas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Alejandro Sustrai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. El decano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
