To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Eliseo Pacorro made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Emeterio. Club Deportivo Celina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sebastian Emeterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Jerico, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Eliseo Pacorro scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Emeterio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Viator in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Jerano saved La Quintana from getting behind. In the 74thth minute of the game Ovidio Jerico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Celina's Sebastian Emeterio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angel Jerano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Flor in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Celina's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Oskarbi came free, but Sebastian Emeterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Deportivo Celina's Sebastian Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Jerico in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Flor got free with Angel Jerano in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Celina's Roman Flor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Jerano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Deportivo Celina had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
