Marcelo Jaen's late challenge caught a Chobi F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Iturri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Pello scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Asier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Mariano Pereyra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Nave FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chobi F.C the free kick. The supporters of Chobi F.C booed when La Nave FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chobi F.C's Virgilio Austin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Chobi F.C from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, La Nave FC's Rosendo Hanni got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to La Nave FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Rosendo Hanni hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes La Nave FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Hever. Damaso Cordareo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Chobi F.C booed when La Nave FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Hanni didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Osoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Amador Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Chobi F.C's zone, Lisandro Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Austin came out of the goal and Lisandro Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Epifanio Asier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Arce went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Rigoberto Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Epifanio Asier made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Rigoberto Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chobi F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Epifanio Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Pello in the 78th minute of the match. Cayetano Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Epifanio Asier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
