The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Domiku helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute Gaston Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Paolo Urbez from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Rafael Uxio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Bertin in the 23rd minute of play forced Cosacos FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Bermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fabricio Bermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Kaxen in the 25th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Eldorado got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Ihazintu. Cosacos FC's Fabricio Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Kaxen in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Eldorado getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gaston Kaxen hit a great ball. Fabricio Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Kaxen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fabricio Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gaston Kaxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fabricio Bermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eldorado. 54 minutes into the game, Eldorado's Jose Bertin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabricio Bermudo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Eldorado's Pedro Ihazintu got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gaston Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Bermudo having to interfere. Jose Bertins short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Fabricio Bermudo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Gaston Kaxen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anselmo Ricart struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. In the 85th minute, Cosacos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jose Bertin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
