The supporters of La 83 FC booed when Matafueguistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Christian Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Marques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Oxel. La 83 FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Matafueguistas's Ezequiel Rafel in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La 83 FC's goalie prevented a goal. La 83 FC's Cristobal Seme quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernando Eneto, made in the 39th minute of the game. If Cristobal Seme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La 83 FC's Jaime Honrio got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomiro Bonifaco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Aguirre in the 46th minute. The La 83 FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matafueguistas were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Gartzen to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Romelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th match minute, Matafueguistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Jordy to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Matafueguistas's zone, Jaime Honrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Bonifaco came out of the goal and Jaime Honrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Fernando Eneto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matafueguistas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La 83 FC the free kick. After 60 played minutes Matafueguistas got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Eneto. Nicasio Aguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fernando Eneto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Matafueguistas's Fernando Eneto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. La 83 FC's Nicasio Aguirre got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Rafel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Saul Oxel made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Rafel got free with Saul Oxel in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nicasio Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes of play, La 83 FC's Fernando Romelio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Bonifaco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, La 83 FC's Jaime Honrio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Bonifaco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Nicasio Aguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Nicasio Aguirre notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Matafueguistas's Baldomiro Bonifaco. Baldomiro Bonifaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
