In the 17th minute, Hilario Ciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Gipuzkoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Severino Cordairo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC LA MAQUINITA's protests and gave Severino Cordairo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sunampa booed when FC LA MAQUINITA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, FC LA MAQUINITA's goalkeeper Bruno Gipuzkoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Nuxila. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunampa's goalkeeper Atilano Ibar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Baristo made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jaime George hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Alejo Timo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sunampa's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Timo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabian Baristo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC LA MAQUINITA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Baristo couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Sunampa got a freekick which was hit by David Aznar. Vladimiro Kiliz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Atilano Ibar. Sunampa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Severino Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Christian Nuxila came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Sunampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Nuxila couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes of play, Sunampa's Alejo Timo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Gipuzkoa was left in no man's land by his defense there!
