Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Alejo Timo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sunampa's Atilano Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Vasco in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sunampa's Hilario Ciano got a free kick in the 7th minute. Celestino Segio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Loco in the 16th minute of play forced Sunampa's goalkeeper Atilano Ibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florentino Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sunampa defense, Florentino Federigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Ibar. The Sunampa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Ibar should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Leopoldo Loco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Ibar having to interfere. Atilano Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Federigo in the 31st minute of play. If Florentino Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Haikyuu's Florentino Federigo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sunampa's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Alfonso Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haikyuu's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Primo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Ibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Florentino Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Federigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Leopoldo Loco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Federigo made a kick off. Alejo Timo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Mundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Florentino Federigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Loco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Ibar was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Federigo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Florentino Federigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atilano Ibar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Federigo ran back to his position shaking his head. Florentino Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Ibar having to interfere. Adolfo Tavio's late challenge caught a Sunampa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Tavio helped the player get up and apologised. Florentino Federigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leandro Vasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Ibar having to make a save. A collision led to Sunampa getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Celestino Segio hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Celestino Segio in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haikyuu's Patricio Piarres. In the 87th minute, Haikyuu's Florentino Federigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 96 minutes into the match, Florentino Federigo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Atilano Ibar, 1-3. Haikyuu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
