Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Alejo Timo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sunampa's Atilano Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Veronica in the 3rd minute of play. If Wilfredo Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Nuxila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Aristides Pelayo made a huge save. In the 11th match minute, La Banda del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Veronica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejo Timo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Sunampa's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Veronica came free, but Atilano Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Banda del Sur's Anselmo Veronica got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Nuxila's late challenge caught a La Banda del Sur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Nuxila helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sunampa's Christian Nuxila got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Izel in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Ibar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Banda del Sur's Aristides Pelayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save La Banda del Sur from getting a goal against them. Prospero Tabb hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Alejo Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sunampa defense, Anselmo Veronica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Ibar. The Sunampa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Ibar should have stopped the shot.

After a defensive mix-up in La Banda del Sur's zone, Christian Nuxila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Pelayo came out of the goal and Christian Nuxila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Veronica did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Atilano Ibar 59 minutes into the match. If Alejo Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda del Sur's zone, Alejo Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Pelayo came out of the goal and Alejo Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Raulo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Raulo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santos Raulo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Christian Nuxila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Pelayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Aristides Pelayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Timo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 78 minutes, Patricio Indalecio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunampa and the La Banda del Sur players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Indalecio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Wilfredo Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Atilano Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunampa's goalkeeper Atilano Ibar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Christian Nuxila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Pelayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. A collision led to Sunampa getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jeronimo Bakar hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Wilfredo Izel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Atilano Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Banda del Sur players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sunampa.
