Constantino Markel made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mauricio Tiadoro sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Barrow's Faustino Ixidor got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Mauricio Tiadoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOCA JUNIORS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Tiadoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BOCA JUNIORS's Valentin Larpe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barrow. After 49 played minutes Barrow got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Ixidor.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Claus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Laurgain hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Barrow's Gabriel Gaxan got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eleuterio Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Markel having to interfere. After 68 played minutes BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Larpe. When BOCA JUNIORS's Nemesio Claus in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Constantino Markel came out of the goal and Nemesio Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrow players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BOCA JUNIORS.
