After 11 played minutes Barrow got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Gaxan. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Eleuterio Orlo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joker F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Orlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Markel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Barrow got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Santiago. Barrow's Constantino Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Romildo in the 22nd minute of play. Gabriel Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Salvador Bikendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Barrow booed when Joker F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Gaxan got free with Salvador Bikendi in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horacio Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eustaquio Herrera fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joker F.C's protests and gave Eustaquio Herrera a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Joker F.C's Eustaquio Herrera got a free kick in the 40th minute. Constantino Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Orlo in the 50th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Romildo couldn't finish the play. Constantino Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Orlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Joker F.C got a corner. Barrow's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Despite this Constantino Markel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Horacio Flor struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Salvador Bikendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrow. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Gaxan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Bikendi was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Gabriel Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Joker F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
