The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Antonio Kismi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nogal FC's Arturo Cebo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafino Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Venerando in the 9th minute of play. If Gaston Uxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafino Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Medardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Kismi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. ATLAS SALUD FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Osvaldo Eufrasio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, one of ATLAS SALUD FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ATLAS SALUD FC. Serafino Salvadore had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Leopoldo Koldo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Menendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATLAS SALUD FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nogal FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Venerando in the 23rd minute of play forced ATLAS SALUD FC's goalkeeper Serafino Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Kismi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Cebo having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, ATLAS SALUD FC's Arnoldo Ezkerra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 35th minute of the match, Anastasio Ruy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arturo Cebo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 40th minute, Nogal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evaristo Lano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antonio Kismi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Arturo Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Venerando made a kick off. Antonio Kismi struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Arturo Cebo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATLAS SALUD FC. Antonio Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arnoldo Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes ATLAS SALUD FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Ezkerra. After 73 played minutes ATLAS SALUD FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Menendo. Nogal FC's Arturo Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Kismi in the 76th minute of play. Cosme Berart hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Kismi in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Cebo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arturo Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Kismi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Menendo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Cebo. Nogal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomiro Menendo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Antonio Kismi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Arturo Cebo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATLAS SALUD FC. Baldomiro Menendo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Cebo. Arturo Cebo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When the referee ended the match the ATLAS SALUD FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
