After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jimeno Sustrai managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLAS SALUD FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Sustrai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Nalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Kismi struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Hector Nalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATLAS SALUD FC. Hector Nalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Menendo in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Chuan during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Antonio Kismi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Nalo came out of the goal and Antonio Kismi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, ATLAS SALUD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Ferdinand came free, but Serafino Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Ezkerra kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Diagur. Vicente Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Nalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Sustrai in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, ATLAS SALUD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Ferdinand came free, but Serafino Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match, Nicasio Chuan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serafino Salvadore saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Serafino Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ferdinand in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Ferdinand made a kick off. Serafino Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Dorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Antonio Kismi took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Hector Nalo to make any attempt to save it. Jimeno Sustrai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Antonio Kismi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the ATLAS SALUD FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Kismi couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Urbes charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Urbes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 80 minutes into the game, one of Club Atletico River Plate:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Baldomiro Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. ATLAS SALUD FC's Jimeno Sustrai got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded ATLAS SALUD FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atletico River Plate.
