Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gabriel Frances started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Los Pibes Magos booed when Capibara CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Monico in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Tavio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Capibara CF's Fernando Haritzeder got a free kick in the 15th minute. Los Pibes Magos's Astor Kusko got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Capibara CF's Dario Felipillo got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gabriel Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gerardo Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Monico in the 20th minute of play. Santiago Tavio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Primitivo Monico came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Capibara CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Monico couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Monico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Tavio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Capibara CF's Florentino Gil got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Abeitia during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los Pibes Magos getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Domingo Abeitia hit a great ball. Santiago Tavio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Iker Rivas. In the 44th minute, Gabriel Frances got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

55 minutes into the match, Los Pibes Magos's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Monico came free, but Santiago Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Pibes Magos's Santiago Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Gil in the 57th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Los Pibes Magos got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Abeitia. Santiago Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Fernando Haritzeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Tavio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Monico in the 63rd minute of play forced Los Pibes Magos's goalkeeper Santiago Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Monico in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Armando Rencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capibara CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Pibes Magos the free kick. Santiago Tavio came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Capibara CF's Dario Felipillo. But to his dismay, Dario Felipillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pibes Magos's zone, Florentino Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Tavio came out of the goal and Florentino Gil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Abeitia was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Capibara CF booed when Los Pibes Magos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Capibara CF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
