Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulises Tano started the match with the kick off. When Eduardo Theodore came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Pueblo Nuevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Theodore couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Gabriel Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Chap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ciro Segio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Theodore hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Seguí FBC's Urbano Lucian got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulises Tano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, one of Pueblo Nuevo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pueblo Nuevo. Urbano Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Francis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Lucian in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Lucian in the 36th minute of play forced Pueblo Nuevo's goalkeeper Marcos Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Urbano Lucian came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Seguí FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Lucian couldn't finish the play. Marcos Francis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gabriel Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Filomeno Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Seguí FBC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Quilino to make the kick off. After 62 played minutes, Pueblo Nuevo's Cecilio Federigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filomeno Chap came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pueblo Nuevo reached it. 64 minutes into the match, Pueblo Nuevo's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Tano came free, but Marcos Francis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Chap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Quilino in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Urbano Lucian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seguí FBC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 73rd minute, Cornelio Hechter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Eduardo Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Chap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gabriel Quilino came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Pueblo Nuevo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Quilino couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ulises Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seguí FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Tano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Francis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Seguí FBC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pueblo Nuevo throughout the match.
