Jacinto Ignado hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 3 minutes into the match, Hector Phelipe notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Balsa AFC's Placido Orlandus. Placido Orlandus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Darth Vader FC's Maximiliano Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Nayely in the 13th minute of play. Maximiliano Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Ignado in the 18th minute of the match. Desiderio Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balsa AFC's Jacinto Ignado got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Haitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute Jacinto Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Isias hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Romulo Pacorro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Placido Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Milio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 55th minute of the match, Aldo Gentza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximiliano Haitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Balsa AFC's Placido Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Milio in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Balsa AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ovidio Perico hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Hector Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balsa AFC's Jacinto Ignado got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Haitz made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Desiderio Nayely sent off a good shot on target. Hector Phelipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Orlandus having to interfere. Placido Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Milio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Desiderio Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balsa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Nayely was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jacinto Ignado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Sanduru hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Desiderio Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Haitz having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Darth Vader FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Sanduru to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Desiderio Nayely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 played minutes Darth Vader FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Indar. 90 minutes into the match, Darth Vader FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Ignado came free, but Maximiliano Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Desiderio Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Balsa AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Balsa AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Darth Vader FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
