Teodoro Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Francis having to interfere. Zacarias Santiago hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Pueblo Nuevo's Gabriel Quilino in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rosetti's Luis Muno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Quilino in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Quilino made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Theodore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Muno was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The corner led Pueblo Nuevo's Marciano Abadie to fire away a dangerous shot which Luis Muno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Rosetti's goalkeeper Luis Muno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Theodore. Pueblo Nuevo's Eduardo Theodore got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Teodoro Oriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Rosetti's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Quilino came free, but Luis Muno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Francis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Marciano Paul fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pueblo Nuevo's protests and gave Marciano Paul a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Pueblo Nuevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Paul to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Oriol might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Francis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Oriol ran back to his position shaking his head. Zacarias Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
