Jimeno Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catriel Sánchez in the 3rd minute of play. Raul Manuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Manuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes A. C. Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Raul Manuelo. In the 7th minute of the match Prudencio Bixintxo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermegildo Terciero skillfully saved the ball. If Frederick Impens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Mitxel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Iaki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Cristo Gaskon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Catriel Sánchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermegildo Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Locaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Catriel Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Berracos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A. C. Buenos Aires the free kick. Jimeno Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catriel Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Catriel Sánchez made a kick off. When Luis Jerrold fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berracos FC's protests and gave Luis Jerrold a yellow card for diving instead. Luis Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Catriel Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. C. Buenos Aires's supporters crossed their fingers, but Catriel Sánchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Jimeno Iaki throw himself and got hold of the ball when Catriel Sánchez in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 88th minute, Catriel Sánchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Catriel Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. C.
