Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Quilino started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Eduardo Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Freddy Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oriente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Tolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saverio Derwin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Gaspar Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Theodore in the 27th minute of play. Oriente FC's Freddy Tolino got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Oriente FC's Atilano Bartoleme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 40th minute, Eduardo Theodore made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Ignado. Oriente FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 2-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Atilano Bartoleme elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcos Francis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Bartoleme, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atilano Bartoleme made a kick off. Adan Pueblo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Gaspar Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Quilino in the 54th minute of play. Gabriel Quilino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Ignado having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Freddy Tolino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marcos Francis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Bartoleme in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Francis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th match minute, Pueblo Nuevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Federigo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Oriente FC's Narciso Frisco tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Freddy Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oriente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Tolino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Francis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Atilano Bartoleme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oriente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Bartoleme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilano Bartoleme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Francis having to interfere. The Oriente FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Oriente FC's Freddy Tolino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot by Adan Pueblo from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Gaspar Ignado's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Atilano Bartoleme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pueblo Nuevo's zone, Atilano Bartoleme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Francis came out of the goal and Atilano Bartoleme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogelio Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Francis having to interfere. When Atilano Bartoleme came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Oriente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Bartoleme couldn't finish the play. Oriente FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
