Spectators: 7172 (Terracing: 5381, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7th minute Gabriel Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Xabat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pueblo Nuevo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marciano Paul hit a great ball. Serafin Xabat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Theodore in the 12th minute of play. Serafin Xabat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Quilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Abadie hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Valendrada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Theodore came free, but Serafin Xabat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Serafin Xabat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafin Xabat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Theodore in the 28th minute of play. Eduardo Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Xabat having to interfere. Serafin Xabat came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pueblo Nuevo's Gabriel Quilino. But to his dismay, Gabriel Quilino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 36th minute, Eduardo Theodore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pueblo Nuevo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Serafin Xabat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Quilino in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Nicanor Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valendrada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nicanor Rufio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Valendrada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Rufio couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Valendrada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Quilino came free, but Serafin Xabat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The crowd rose to their feet as Gabriel Quilino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serafin Xabat. That made the score 0-4 in the 62 minute of play. Constantino Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Xabat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Theodore in the 71st minute. A collision led to Valendrada FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Constantino Gonzo hit a great ball. Gabriel Quilino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Valendrada FC's zone, Gabriel Quilino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Xabat came out of the goal and Gabriel Quilino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Valendrada FC's zone, Eduardo Theodore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Xabat came out of the goal and Eduardo Theodore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Nicanor Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valendrada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Valendrada FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pueblo Nuevo's performance. The match ended with a win for Pueblo Nuevo.
