In the 24th minute, Andres Gentza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Nisio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Decadente's zone, Andres Gentza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Nisio came out of the goal and Andres Gentza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Mark missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 41 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Arnoldo Nisio right hand side. Mauricio Obano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Laurin having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Santio made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Club Atlético Decadente's Fernando Santio made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Chago in the 77th minute of play forced Luro FC's goalkeeper Javier Laurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Laurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Chago, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 92nd minute Cristian Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Nisio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Andres Gentza made a precise shot to the right of Arnoldo Nisio. Club Atlético Decadente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Club Atlético Decadente's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
