Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristian Naike kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Cristian Naike managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Naike was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Andres Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Naike came free, but Marcial Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Nuno came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Luro FC's Mauricio Obano. But to his dismay, Mauricio Obano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 22 played minutes Luro FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Gentza. Academia FC's Benito Loramendi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Luro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Lartaun came free, but Javier Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Laurin having to interfere. Cristian Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Nuno having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Lartaun to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia FC's goalkeeper Marcial Nuno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute Leopoldo Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, one of Academia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Academia FC. The goalkeeper, Marcial Nuno, was totally fooled by Luro FC's Nereo Mark, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Ildefonso Mero got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Andres Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Leopoldo Lartaun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Laurin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Andres Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcial Nuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Naike kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcial Nuno. That made the score 2-3 in the 91 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Luro FC's zone, Benito Loramendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Laurin came out of the goal and Benito Loramendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luro FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
