Rogelio Nabar started the match with the kick off. Luro FC's Cristian Naike got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulgencio Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rogelio Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Luro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Nabar came free, but Javier Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Salvator scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Laurin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luro FC's Javier Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Nabar in the 23rd minute of play. When Rogelio Nabar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Javier Laurin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rogelio Nabar took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Laurin. Javier Laurin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of FC Miami booed when Luro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Rogelio Nabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Nabar in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Laurin saved Luro FC from getting behind. Rogelio Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Naike made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Luro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Nabar came free, but Javier Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Fiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Laurin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchor Fiz ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, FC Miami's Javier Laurin threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogelio Nabar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Lluc in the 62nd minute of play forced Luro FC's goalkeeper Javier Laurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Laurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Nabar in the 63rd minute of play. Rogelio Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Loreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Javier Laurin came out and tried to block the shot, but Fulgencio Loreto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Luro FC's Cristian Naike sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Tirso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Luro FC's zone, Rogelio Nabar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Laurin came out of the goal and Rogelio Nabar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Miami's Sylvain De Meur was substituted for Rogelio Nabar. Herminio Cebrian's late challenge caught a FC Miami's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Cebrian helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Miami booed when Luro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Sylvain De Meur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sylvain De Meur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Javier Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Sylvain De Meur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Miami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvain De Meur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Gentza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasio Tirso having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded FC Miami left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Luro FC.
