Spectators: 7299 (Terracing: 5476, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rogelio Nabar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcial Nuno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Nabar's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Rogelio Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Nuno having to interfere. If Rogelio Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, Anier Lluc notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Academia FC's Marcial Nuno. Marcial Nuno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fulgencio Loreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Melchor Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Academia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Nabar in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Nuno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rogelio Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Miami's Anastasio Tirso got control of the ball when Benito Loramendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Academia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Miami were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Lartaun made the kick off in the second half. FC Miami's Silvestre Cucao got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Ezequiel Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Nabar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Nuno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Nabar came free, but Marcial Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, FC Miami's Rogelio Nabar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcial Nuno. Marcial Nuno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 81st match minute, Academia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Chucho to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Academia FC's zone, Anier Lluc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Nuno came out of the goal and Anier Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Rogelio Nabar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcial Nuno, passed just outside the right post. Rogelio Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Nuno having to interfere. FC Miami's Anastasio Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Loramendi in the 93rd minute of play. FC Miami's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
