The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Preston dc getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ricardo Dantel hit a great ball. Preston dc's Paulo Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Preston dc from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Bilintx got free with Paulo Marin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 9 minutes on the clock, Basilio Vergaray commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Preston dc's Adrian Beti couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Cicloneta FC. After a rather tough play, La Cicloneta FC's Danilo Bilintx got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Dantel in the 19th minute of play forced La Cicloneta FC's goalkeeper Israel Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Preston dc's Ricardo Dantel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Gumaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in La Cicloneta FC's zone, Epifanio Henrico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Gumaro came out of the goal and Epifanio Henrico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albino Quintin made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lucio Ovando immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Bilintx in the 29th minute of play forced Preston dc's goalkeeper Paulo Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Bilintx got free with Paulo Marin in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Bilintx in the 32nd minute of the match. Antonio Manilan kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Beti in the 42nd minute of play forced La Cicloneta FC's goalkeeper Israel Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Epifanio Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Epifanio Henrico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Preston dc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Preston dc were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ricardo Dantel made the kick off in the second half. Joel Dimo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Israel Gumaro made a huge save. In the 56th play minute Epifanio Henrico came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Israel Gumaro. 0-4. Israel Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Henrico in the 60th minute of the match. Israel Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Gutxi in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Danilo Bilintx made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Marin. Preston dc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Bilintx in the 67th minute of play forced Preston dc's goalkeeper Paulo Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Dantel hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Evelio Gutxi's late challenge caught a La Cicloneta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Gutxi helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, La Cicloneta FC's Israel Gumaro got control of the ball when Ricardo Dantel tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Gutxi in the 74th minute of play forced La Cicloneta FC's goalkeeper Israel Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Dantel came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Israel Gumaro could save by the left post. 78 minutes into the match, Epifanio Henrico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Israel Gumaro, 1-5. Israel Gumaro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. Adrian Beti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Henrico got free with Israel Gumaro in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Cicloneta FC's Israel Gumaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save La Cicloneta FC from getting a goal against them. Preston dc's Paulo Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Bilintx in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Preston dc's Ricardo Dantel got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Apolo Oxarra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Marin. Preston dc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Oxarra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Preston dc's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
