When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Freddy Olando sped through Fortineros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iker Tajo. Manuel Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Severo Jurgi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortineros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Cajon's Jacobo Roldan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Cajon from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Olando in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Tajo saved Fortineros from getting behind. Manuel Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Iker Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Tajo having to interfere. Manuel Ascencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Olando struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Iker Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajon. Iker Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Olando, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Olando in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iker Tajo saved Fortineros from getting behind. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Freddy Olando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Iker Tajo made a huge save. When Jose Sal fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortineros's protests and gave Jose Sal a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Fortineros got a freekick which was hit by Jose Sal. The nice shot from Freddy Olando in the 59thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Iker Tajo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 64 minutes into the game, Matias Gabino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cajon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortineros the free kick. Matias Gabino kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Leonel Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Cajon's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Jurgi came free, but Jacobo Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Fortineros's Iker Tajo got control of the ball when Freddy Olando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Despite being the better team, Cajon failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
