Arnulfo Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Ermegildo Tiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Gonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Ipar in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Iturraspe FC booed when FC Cancerbero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Cancerbero's Herminio Cordaro got control of the ball when Felix Faron tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Cancerbero's Leonides Tximitx got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Iturraspe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Tirso to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Iturraspe FC defense, Arnulfo Ipar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Gonzo. The Iturraspe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Gonzo should have stopped the shot. Prudencio Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Arnulfo Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Gonzo having to interfere. Felix Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Cancerbero's Marcelo Cristofor got a free kick in the 58th minute. Diego Gonzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Ipar in the 61st minute. Ermegildo Tiso's late challenge caught a FC Cancerbero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Tiso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Iturraspe FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ermegildo Tiso hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, FC Cancerbero's Fermin Txomin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Diego Gonzo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Arnulfo Ipar sent off a good shot on target. Arnulfo Ipar came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diego Gonzo could save by the left post. After 74 minutes, Marcelo Cristofor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cancerbero and the Iturraspe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Herminio Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Iturraspe FC's Prudencio Leheren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herminio Cordaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Felix Faron struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Herminio Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iturraspe FC. Herminio Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Diego Gonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Tximitx in the 90th minute of play. Prudencio Leheren struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Herminio Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iturraspe FC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
