In the 41st minute Vladimiro Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Honrio struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Isaias Bartoleme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Fortin de las Cabas FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Eate made a kick off. Boca jr. In the 69th minute, Cirilo Gustau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Inocencio Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Fortin de las Cabas FC's Everardo Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Gustau in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the El Fortin de las Cabas FC defense, Cirilo Gustau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Sal. The El Fortin de las Cabas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Sal should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boca jr. FC fully deserved thier win.
