Bernardo Lesardo came out of the goal and Alberto Basajaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ideazabal's Federico Ilazki got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Bustamante AFC booed when Ideazabal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Ideazabal's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Calvet came free, but Fidel Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Gorka in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ideazabal's Genaro Haitz got a free kick in the 34th minute. Bernardo Lesardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Ilazki in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Lesardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 41st minute of the match Genaro Haitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Genaro Haitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 42nd match minute, Ideazabal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Haitz to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Basajaun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A very good opportunity. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bustamante AFC fully deserved thier win.
