Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 2) Iturraspe FC's Prudencio Leheren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Gonzo having to interfere. In the 10th minute Felix Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Prudencio Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Prudencio Leheren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CA Leones's Lucio Egoi. Lucio Egoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lucio Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Faron might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Egoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Faron ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Leones's goalkeeper Lucio Egoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Iturraspe FC's Diego Gonzo got control of the ball when Emanuel Louis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantino Lartaun was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Constantino Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Gonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Lartaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Diego Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Leheren in the 58th minute of the match. Francisco Gaizkine's late challenge caught a Iturraspe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Gaizkine helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CA Leones getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Francisco Gaizkine hit a great ball. CA Leones's Lucio Egoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save CA Leones from getting a goal against them. After having played for 69 minutes, Emanuel Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Leones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Louis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute Constantino Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Gonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CA Leones's zone, Felix Faron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Egoi came out of the goal and Felix Faron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CA Leones's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urbano Haritzeder in the 82nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Urbano Haritzeder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Diego Gonzo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 85th minute, Emanuel Louis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes Iturraspe FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Tirso. 90 minutes into the match, Iturraspe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Lartaun came free, but Diego Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Iturraspe FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
