Bustamante AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Gorka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Cancerbero's Herminio Cordaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Cancerbero from getting a goal against them. Cirilo Gorka scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herminio Cordaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Leonardo Calvet, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Herminio Cordaro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A hard shot 28 in the game by Cirilo Gorka from a close distance when the talented Herminio Cordaro managed to make a qualified save. FC Cancerbero's players were relieved. 32 minutes into the match, Bustamante AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Tximitx came free, but Bernardo Lesardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Fidensio's late challenge caught a FC Cancerbero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Fidensio helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolo Fidensio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Leonardo Calvet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Leonardo Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Cordaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Cancerbero's Celso Ignazio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Herminio Cordaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Gorka in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Calvet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, FC Cancerbero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Matei to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Celso Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Gorka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cancerbero's zone, Leonardo Calvet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Cordaro came out of the goal and Leonardo Calvet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bustamante AFC's Leonardo Calvet in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Cancerbero's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, Celso Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cirilo Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cirilo Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bustamante AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Gorka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Cordaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Cancerbero getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Celso Ignazio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cancerbero's zone, Cirilo Gorka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Cordaro came out of the goal and Cirilo Gorka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Calvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the FC Cancerbero defense, Cirilo Gorka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Cordaro. The FC Cancerbero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Cordaro should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Azevedo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
