Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Timoteo Tabor took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Cirilo Papo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aaron Mon, 1-0. A collision led to Asturias getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Edgardo Ioritz hit a great ball. After 12 minutes, Cirilo Papo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Solís's Aaron Mon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th match minute, Solís was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Xabier to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Esteve Maurin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Mon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 20 played minutes Asturias got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Osasun. Remigio Peruanton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aaron Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Laffitte in the 28th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Solís got a freekick which was hit by Victor Abaunza. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiburcio Laffitte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aaron Mon. That made the score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Cirilo Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asturias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Papo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Solís's zone, Cirilo Papo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Mon came out of the goal and Cirilo Papo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cirilo Papo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Asturias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Papo couldn't finish the play. 4-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Jesus Abastas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tiburcio Laffitte made the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Tabor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Maiorga having to make a save. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solís's goalkeeper Aaron Mon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Timoteo Tabor fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Solís's protests and gave Timoteo Tabor a yellow card for diving instead. Timoteo Tabor kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Cirilo Papo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Tiburcio Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asturias's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Laffitte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Mon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 minutes, Victor Abaunza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Solís and the Asturias players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Solís's Victor Abaunza got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Asturias's Esteve Maurin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 67th match minute, Solís was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Kismi to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Solís's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Papo came free, but Aaron Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Asturias's Tiburcio Laffitte made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Mon was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tiburcio Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Asturias booed when Solís was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Peruanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes Solís's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteve Maurin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Esteve Maurin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aaron Mon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tiburcio Laffitte scored 6-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaron Mon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Solís's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Laffitte came free, but Aaron Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aaron Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Asturias fully deserved thier win.
