Ismael Bordat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serafino Arnau. Havana FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Havana FC booed when Huelén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Dolfos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agatas Rimkus struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Niceto Flor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Havana FC. Marcelino Toli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Serafino Arnau made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Huelén's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Aznar came free, but Niceto Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Havana FC's Angelino Aznar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Flor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agatas Rimkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Flor having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Angelino Aznar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Havana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Aznar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Aznar in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Gerardo Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Aznar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Flor saved Huelén from getting behind. After 34 minutes, Manuel Claude mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huelén and the Havana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Agatas Rimkus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agatas Rimkus in the 41st minute of the match. Angelino Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Flor having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Claude to make the kick off. Serafino Arnau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Toli went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Serafino Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Dolfos in the 55th minute of the match. Fausto Dolfos took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Arnau. Serafino Arnau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 69th minute of the match Isaias Elequemedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Flor skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agatas Rimkus in the 75th minute of play forced Huelén's goalkeeper Niceto Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agatas Rimkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Niceto Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Flor was a little too slow when Agatas Rimkus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-1. Martin Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Huelén players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
