Robustiano Rafel made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Esteve Lluterio sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the game, Cornelio Hotz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robustiano Rafel. Cornelio Hotz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Esteve Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Evelio Nafarroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. santydom's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Nafarroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Rafel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Cymbaline defense, Esteve Lluterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robustiano Rafel. The Cymbaline fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robustiano Rafel should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tadeo Lore made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cornelio Hotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Cornelio Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Onbera couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes, Ubaldo Gorosti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cymbaline and the santydom players grew even worse after the yellow card.
