In the 4th minute, Flavio Astigar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th match minute, AC Simba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Kauldi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Euloxu in the 11th minute of play forced AC Simba's goalkeeper Damaso Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Arias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 26 minutes, Christian Remir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Simba and the Temperley 1982 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, AC Simba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Remir to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Flavio Astigar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Elvio Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Temperley 1982's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Simba the free kick. A collision led to Temperley 1982 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Elvio Ovando hit a great ball. Gerardo Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Chale having to interfere. Edelmiro Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Ferman in the 39th minute of play. Gerardo Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Chale having to interfere. If Alberto Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Amadeo Gonzo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of AC Simba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Temperley 1982:s goal. The referee gave Temperley 1982 a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aurelio Guter, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Simba's Damaso Arias. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Euloxu was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Euloxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Damaso Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Astigar struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Damaso Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temperley 1982. In the 66th minute, Flavio Astigar made a precise shot to the right of Damaso Arias. AC Simba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Alberto Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Arias having to interfere. Flavio Astigar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Damaso Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Arias came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Temperley 1982's Epifanio Aguirre. But to his dismay, Epifanio Aguirre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gerardo Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damaso Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Euloxu in the 96th minute of the match. Temperley 1982 played a much better game than AC Simba and deserved their victory. The AC Simba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
