An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Remir in the 4th minute of play forced Cymbaline's goalkeeper Robustiano Rafel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Onberas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Teo Atarratze to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Teo Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Lore, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Tadeo Lore elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Teo Atarratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, EQF's Teo Atarratze got control of the ball when Lorenzo Onbera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robustiano Rafel came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by EQF's Nicasio Ferman. But to his dismay, Nicasio Ferman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Robustiano Rafel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Remir in the 32nd minute of the match. EQF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Tadeo Lore scored to the left of an out of position Teo Atarratze, making the score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Lore in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Atarratze saved EQF from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Tadeo Lore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teo Atarratze. EQF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Lore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Lore to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Tadeo Lore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cymbaline's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EQF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cymbaline's Tadeo Lore got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Nicasio Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cymbaline's Tadeo Lore got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 minutes, Santos Remir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EQF and the Cymbaline players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santos Remir hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Tadeo Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind EQF's goalkeeper Teo Atarratze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Tadeo Lore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EQF's Teo Atarratze was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robustiano Rafel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Remir, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Nicasio Ferman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Rafel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Nicasio Ferman scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robustiano Rafel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute of the match Angelino Estevez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teo Atarratze skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd match minute, EQF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Sabino to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Onbera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Atarratze was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 95 minutes into the game, Cymbaline's Tadeo Lore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo Atarratze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. There was no doubt that Cymbaline were the better team. Cymbaline's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
