Leon Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Rolando Jobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Manilan was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Pastor Ilazki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pastor Ilazki really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laureano Manilan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Laureano Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Ilazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Vladimiro Caton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Manilan was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Laureano Manilan came out of the goal and Vladimiro Caton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Tajo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cosme Goiz sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Lezcanos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Caton came free, but Laureano Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Batavia FC were awarded a corner. Pastor Ilazki went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Batavia FC's Sergio Ignatius getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ilazki in the 94th minute of play forced Lezcanos AFC's goalkeeper Laureano Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Batavia FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lezcanos AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
