Spectators: 7171 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celso Ferman got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Santos Remir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damaso Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Celso Ferman came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the AC Simba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Ferman couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Urtsin struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Teo Atarratze didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Simba. AC Simba's attack was well implemented in the 19th minute, but when Celso Ferman was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 21st minute of the match, Gerardo Urtsin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teo Atarratze was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Simba's Celso Ferman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teo Atarratze. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Santos Remir struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Damaso Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EQF. Gerardo Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Teo Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Ferman, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of EQF booed when AC Simba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Celio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Atarratze having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Remir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santos Remir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Nicasio Ferman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Damaso Arias, passed just outside the right post. 68 minutes into the game, Christian Remir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Simba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EQF the free kick. After a rather tough play, AC Simba's Christian Remir got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Eduardo Cordarrel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AC Simba's Damaso Arias didn't even have to move. In the 71st match minute, AC Simba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Remir to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, EQF's Eduardo Cordarrel tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gerardo Urtsin took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Atarratze. Teo Atarratze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. AC Simba's Celso Ferman got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Teo Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fermin Cordara charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Cordara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fermin Cordara hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Gerardo Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Gerardo Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Urtsin in the 92nd minute of play.
