Teo Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 48th minute, Cosme Goiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santos Remir to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Lezcanos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Ur. The crowd rose to their feet as Lezcanos AFC's Cosme Goiz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teo Atarratze. That made the score 1-3 after 59 minutes of play. After 62 played minutes EQF got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Cordara. A collision led to Lezcanos AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ernesto Gaztea hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Santos Remir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Manilan was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 71stth minute of the game Santos Remir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lezcanos AFC's Laureano Manilan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fermin Cordara hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Lezcanos AFC's Ernesto Gaztea tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Adan Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lezcanos AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
