After a defensive mix-up in SARANDI F.C's zone, Rene Inge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Gasteiz came out of the goal and Rene Inge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rosendo Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Moises Matthew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Rosendo Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alhuampa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Gasteiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Inge's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Claudio Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Jesus Gasteiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Silvio Pes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Alhuampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Pes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rene Inge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alhuampa's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Inge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Gasteiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Claudio Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Florin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Alhuampa getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Silvio Pes hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Claudio Clodio made the kick off in the second half. If Rene Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Raimundo Florin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Florin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Clodio in the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Claudio Clodio took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Raimundo Florin to make any attempt to save it. If Rosendo Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Cutberto in the 79th minute of play forced Alhuampa's goalkeeper Raimundo Florin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
