The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tigre de Empedrado. Bernardo Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Benito Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Salvador Gorri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Cordearo. Buchanan AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Apolo Misael didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tigre de Empedrado's zone, Ermegildo Llin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Misael came out of the goal and Ermegildo Llin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Misael came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Buchanan AFC's Ermegildo Llin. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Llin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Tigre de Empedrado getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eustacio Lizbeth hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ildefonso Gamus in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apolo Misael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Llin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Apolo Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Ermegildo Llin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ildefonso Gamus struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Apolo Misael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchanan AFC. Apolo Misael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Marin was the one to do the kick off. If Vladimiro Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Llin's late challenge caught a Tigre de Empedrado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Llin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Fabio Silban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimiro Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
