Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5011, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rene Inge took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute Oscar Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Florin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Alhuampa got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Pes. Rene Inge was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Alhuampa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Rene Inge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldo Ostadar was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Providencia's Alberto Gizon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alhuampa. Leandro Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Florin having to interfere. Agustin Darien hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes, Alhuampa's Sergio Herensuge shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Ostadar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alhuampa reached it. After some careless play in the Providencia defense, Rene Inge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Ostadar. The Providencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Ostadar should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Inge in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the Alhuampa defense, Oscar Beat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Florin. The Alhuampa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Florin should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Moises Matthew was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alhuampa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Providencia the free kick. The supporters of Providencia booed when Alhuampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Florin having to interfere.

The wind increased when Leandro Ledesma made the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Florin made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Oscar Beat sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldo Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Inge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Ledesma struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Raimundo Florin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Providencia. Alhuampa's Raimundo Florin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Alhuampa from getting a goal against them. In the 68th match minute, Providencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gizon to maneuver through the defense. Rene Inge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Osvaldo Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Rene Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Providencia booed when Alhuampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Florin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Ledesma in the 82nd minute of play. Oscar Beat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sergio Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Alhuampa's Raimundo Florin got control of the ball when Oscar Beat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Beat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Raimundo Florin made a huge save. Leandro Ledesma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Florin having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Alhuampa could leave the field as winners, despite Providencia having more of the ball for most of the match.
