Teobaldo Sein might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Cordearo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Sein ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Buchanan AFC's zone, Benjamin Cuartio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Cordearo came out of the goal and Benjamin Cuartio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Goiz having to interfere. If Bernardo Ioritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Sportivo Villa Salas's Leonel Emesto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ermegildo Llin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Luisito Goiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchanan AFC. Ildefonso Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luisito Goiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buchanan AFC's Bernardo Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Cuartio in the 21st minute of play. After 23 played minutes Buchanan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Gonzalez. In the 25th minute, Ermegildo Llin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Bernardo Ioritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermegildo Llin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Cordearo having to interfere. Luisito Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Llin in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Benjamin Cuartio made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Cordearo. Buchanan AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Gamus made a kick off. If Ermegildo Llin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Ildefonso Gamus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Villa Salas's Luisito Goiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Ioritz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Cordearo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 66thth minute of the game Benjamin Cuartio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buchanan AFC's Bernardo Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ildefonso Gamus came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Buchanan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Gamus couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Cuartio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Cordearo was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Bernardo Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Benito Lauaxeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Cuartio in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Cordearo saved Buchanan AFC from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Buchanan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Ioritz came free, but Bernardo Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match Sportivo Villa Salas got a corner. Buchanan AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edelmiro Librado ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Cuartio in the 84th minute of play forced Buchanan AFC's goalkeeper Bernardo Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Sportivo Villa Salas's goalkeeper Luisito Goiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Llin. 87 minutes into the match, Buchanan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Ioritz came free, but Bernardo Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Cuartio in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Villa Salas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Buchanan AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
